Breaking Systemic Barriers for Early Educators
On October 2, I look forward to speaking as a panelist on The Council Table Podcast Live during the Opening Plenary of the 2026 Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children (GAEYC) Annual Conference in Alpharetta, GA.
Having served on the GAEYC Board of Directors for many years, this conference is very important to me! I always enjoy connecting and reflecting with fellow Georgians and early learning stakeholders who are advocating for fairness and best practices with young children and their families. ✨
Supporting Home Visiting Initiatives
I'm excited about speaking on October 6 at the 2026 Parents as Teachers International Conference in Portland, OR.
My Council colleague, Vilma M. Williams, and I will present "Stronger Together: Partnering with Families for Lifelong Learning and Development," in English and Spanish. ✨
🎉Happy 13th Anniversary, Singing Up a Buzz!🎶
In 2013, my children’s music CD, Singing Up a Buzz, was officially released. Initially recorded to support monthly lesson plans with my national WINGS Curriculum learning system, the songs became a HIT in early childhood settings and continue to be a favorite of young children, even today.
Singing Up a Buzz features 12 songs for young children and is available on popular music streaming platforms, such as Amazon, Apple Music, YouTube and more.. 🎉
