📢 Contributing Thought Leadership: New Publication Feature

I'm pleased to have contributed to What Will Montessori Leadership Look Like in 2030? AI and the Future of Montessori Leadership, a collaborative report from illumine and The Montessori Foundation exploring emerging trends shaping the future of Montessori leadership.

As educational leaders continue preparing for the future, understanding the intersection of technology, leadership, and child-centered learning has never been more important.

It's an honor to offer my insight on this important topic! ✍️

EVENT REFLECTIONS

Reflecting on GAEYC 2026

It was a pleasure speaking as a panelist on The Council Table Podcast Live during the Opening Plenary of the 2026 Georgia Association for the Education of Young Children (GAEYC) Annual Conference in Alpharetta, GA!

Thank you to the GAEYC Board of Directors and the Council for Professional Recognition for inviting me to participate! I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with current and former colleagues, mentees, students, staff and fellow advocates. ✨

Supporting Home Visiting Initiatives

What an incredible experience speaking at the 2026 Parents as Teachers International Conference in BEAUTIFUL Portland, Oregon!

I was honored to present English and Spanish sessions alongside my Council colleague Vilma Williams on "Stronger Together: Partnering with Families for Lifelong Learning and Development." The energy, passion, and commitment of conference attendees reinforced the importance of meaningful partnerships with families as the heart of lifelong learning and positive outcomes for children. 🎊

UPCOMING EVENTS

Advocating for Quality Systems in ECE

In education, family trust is not built at parent-teacher conferences. It is built in the small, steady moments.

Join me and Isabel Riley from illumine for a live session on the habits that turn everyday communication into relationships that last the whole year.

Breaking Systemic Barriers for Early Educators

I’m honored to contribute my perspective on credit for prior learning (CPL) at the 2026 Council for Adult and Experiential Learning (CAEL) Conference in Pittsburgh, PA.

On November 4 at 2:00 PM-2:50 PM ET, CAEL Director, Initiatives Dr. Alicia Myrick and I will present, "From Practice to Degree: Accelerating Early Childhood Education via CPL & Partnerships."

It will be exciting to engage CAEL Conference participants in an enlightening discussion on how to break systemic barriers for early educators who deserve opportunities to seamlessly advance their professional credentials and career paths. ✨
