If I could offer one piece of advice to mothers of young children today, it would be this: Children are only young for a few short years. YOU have the power to tailor your career aspirations and activities based on each stage of their lives. Be present by actively showing up in their daily lives, physically, socially, and emotionally. It won't be long before they CHOOSE to be independent and require less of you and from you. Take parenting seriously!

The beginning of the year has always felt like a season of possibility. It feels especially meaningful that many of my books were published during the first quarter of the year, a time associated with new beginnings, fresh goals, and renewed purpose.
